Editing a page

To edit your page you need to log in by entering your login name, email address and file name.

Editing your page is similar to creating it - you are presented with a similar form. However, when editing your page your original values are returned. You can change the values to edit your page, but you can't however edit your page file name or login ID. The additional option to place your updated page at the top of the index page will appear under your page name. If the community administrator has turned this option on it will be shown as active else it will be shown as inactive.

Error messages

If you receive any error messages using EZ Home Page 2000 it's probably because you either forgot to enter certain information on a previous form, or entered it incorrectly. Go back and try again!

Known Problems

1) the login for image uploads is sticky -  the first login will say you don't have permission. just use your browser's back button and enter you login name the click on login. If the information was entered correctly and you will be taken to the Upload File Selection screen.

2) xbitmap counter images display correctly under Netscape but under Internat Explorer may be shaded depending  on the background color.

3) Sometimes the create - edit page will stick - user then has to go back and press the button on the previous screen.( you'll know it happened if you get a heading and page top with nothing to edit.)
